SUNDAY GIRL
Today is lazy Sunday, the London heatwave is over, so it is about time we started pulling out our Autumn staples. This morning I went for a long walk in this lovely crisp weather and decided to opt for my favourite leather pants and Vans lace-ups with my 'Juste Parfait' knitted jumper for warmth. Personally, I prefer Autumn/Winter clothes to my summer wardrobe, you can play more with layers and textures when the weather is colder. Apologies for sounding like a summer grinch (I won't be complaining when I am in the Nevada desert next month on holiday) but I will be embracing the winter months with open arms...

TOGA PULLA? TO DIE.
Most people who know me, will know that one of my first and all-time loves are boots. Ankle, biker, knee high, cut-out, you name it, I probably have or am coveting after a pair. My typical style is more tom-boy than girly and I love nothing more than to throw on a pair of leather pants, t-shirt, denim jacket and some biker boots on my off days, it when I feel my most comfortable self. So you will understand my new found adoration for the phenomenal brand Toga Pulla and their divine footwear. The brand was created by former Japanese stylist and designer, Yasuko Furuta and she has certainly made some sensational creations. I stumbled across Toga Pulla when I was searching on the trusty net-a-porter for an autumn/winter treat to myself and found myself drooling over her contemporary, uber-chic and mega stylish boots. I have fallen particularly head over heels (excuse the pun, it was semi- intentional) with a pair of exquisite monochrome cut out's with large buckle detailing. I am already imagining what I want to team them with, especially for my trip to Paris next month with a few of my friends, the perfect shoe to wander around my favourite city in. Available to purchase online at Matches.com, Net-a-porter.com and avenue32.com, there is no excuse for you not to treat yourselves too....

PINCH PUNCH, FIRST OF THE MONTH

To mark the 1st of September (where has this year gone?) I thought I would let you know  what I have been buying and what I have been listening to this week. Summer is sadly drawing to a close for us Londoners but we have been graced with the sheer luck of yet another heatwave and this has only made me want to buy more pairs of sunglasses and download even more songs that remind me of the best time of year. My top 5 on my playlist which has been getting me through the morning commute along with my favourite pink coffee's from the little cafe at my local station are..
1. Avicii- You Make Me
2. Klangkarrussel feat Will Heard- Sonnentanz, Sun don't shine
3. Ellie Goulding- You my Everything
4. Ellie Goulding- Burn
5. Drake- Hold on we're going home

With this amazing weather I have also found it quite hard to resist purchasing two new pairs of sunglasses from Topshop. I am a big fan of sunglasses and in addition to having some investment staples from the trusty Ray Ban, McQueen and Celine, I do like to have a few pairs of eclectic styles that are very affordable...
Bugs life sunnies- Topshop. 'I don't give a chic' iphone 5 case- Mua Mua @ Harrods, striped top- Zara
I have also taken full advantage of my favourite High Street go-to shop Zara, their A/W collection is in and it is a winner. Beautiful coats, jumpers, leather skirts/pants/shorts/tops, tartan and cropped tops and a whole lot more, my favourite piece is a gold metallic leather skirt, which will most definitely be working it's way into my wardrobe- perfect for my holiday to Vegas in October, you can't go to Vegas and not wear gold.

WHAT'S IN MY WARDROBE?

Perhaps I speak for myself but I really do like to know what is in other people's wardrobes, call me crazy but there's nothing like having a root around for some goodies in your friend's closet, after all they do say that 'sharing is caring' and what better way to share than to share your clothes? Obviously there are boundaries, you have to be selective over who you trust with your clothes, so that you don't lend out dresses that are returned with red wine spills or shoes that come back with wrecked heels but nonetheless, I am more than happy to share my wardrobe with my nearest and dearest trusted companions. I am fortunate enough to have acquired from beautiful pieces in my wardrobe over the past few years working in fashion and today I thought I would share just a few of my favourites from my accessories collection...

A hard pick but two of my favourite going OUT OUT shoes, Nicholas Kirkwood and YSL tribute sandals

My beloved Jimmy Choo biker boots, the ideal companion to my staple winter look of leather pants, boyfriend fit jumpers, larger than life scarves and hats.

Celine Mini Luggage and Celine Trapeze bag, I have a motherly love for both of these

I like to wear sunglasses all year round, I stay true to the few brands that I love and suit my face shape, Celine, Alexander McQueen, Ray Ban, Cheap Monday and a sneaky pair of John Lennon style from Zara men!
Love me a beanie to keep warm when London gets freezing, my favourite is my Hope beanie, a gift from a very good friend. Bright colours are fun in winter to brighten up an all black outfit.

LOGO LOVE

Here at Belle & le Badboy, we have gone a bit cray for a logo tee, yes I know that everybody is wearing them and yes I know there will probably be a backlash coming pretty soon but that doesn't stop us from enjoying them for the time being, alongside many others. Made famous by Brian Lichtenberg, the fashion world has been saturated with the tongue-in-cheek mock designer logo t-shirts, beanies, caps and vest tops with slogans such as Homies (Hermes), Feline (Celine), Ballin (Balmain), Bucci (Gucci) and many more emblazoned across them. Brian's light-hearted apparel has been worn by fashionista's globally, to name a few, River Viiperi, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna. Another logo brand made famous by Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger (probably because their faces are featured on the t-shirts) is Blackscore, who have produced some very chic t-shirts with sayings such as 'Got Swagger' for Georgia Jagger, 'No.1 Dunn', 'Tom Ford is my Homeboy' and 'Comme as you are', their own unique take on Comme des Garcons. Pop singer Rita Ora also made famous the 'Queen Delevingne' t-shirt, showing her love for her fashion 'wifey'.

To jump on the bandwagon, head straight for our favourites Brian Lichtenburg, Blackscore, Wildfox and Urban Outfitters...

GIRL OF THE WEEK

I am not ashamed to admit that I have an ever increasing list of beauties that I frequently crush on, from the trio of the moment Cara, Jourdan and Karlie, to fashion royals like Alexa, Rosie, Olivia and of course Queen of the fash pack Kate, I find myself discovering new faces on a daily basis (thank you Instagram for further fueling my obsessions).
So this week I am dedicating my first post to my absolute favourite girl, Behati Prinsloo. Newly engaged to the equally genetically blessed music man Adam Levine, she is a fashion force on a whole new level. After being spotted at the tender age of fourteen in South Africa by arguably the most discerning and credible scouting talent Sarah Doukas (she also discovered Kate Moss), Namibian beauty Behati has catapulted into the modelling world with some major fashion credentials to add to her name, she was given the most coveted pair of wings in fashion, becoming a Victoria's Secret angel in 2009, as well as gracing the pages of countless monthly glossies  internationally in advertising campaigns for fashion giants Chanel, DKNY and Tommy Hilfiger just to name a few. However, for me, it is all about Behati's 'off duty' ensembles that makes me love her even more, her fresh faced, disheveled chic is complete perfection. She is the ideal mix of bohemian and understated rocker and nobody quite pulls of the Zoe Karssen t-shirt, floppy hat and skinny leather pants look quite like Behati. See her in action below....oh and she also looks banging in a bikini....
